What Is PVC Coated Mesh Banner?

PVC coated mesh banner is a wind-permeable outdoor advertising material made from a woven polyester scrim coated with PVC, widely used for building wraps, scaffolding covers, and large outdoor displays.

PVC coated mesh banner is a specialized outdoor advertising material constructed from a woven polyester or nylon scrim that is coated or laminated with PVC on both faces. The defining characteristic of mesh banner is its perforated or open-weave structure, which allows wind to pass through rather than accumulating against the surface.

This wind-load reduction makes PVC coated mesh banner the preferred choice for large-scale installations where structural wind resistance is a concern — including building wraps, scaffolding covers, construction hoardings, fence banners, and stadium perimeter advertising. The reduced sail effect means the banner exerts far less stress on its mounting hardware and supporting structure compared with solid frontlit or blockout materials.

Despite its open structure, PVC coated mesh banner delivers excellent print quality when output with high-resolution solvent or eco-solvent inks. The PVC coating provides UV resistance, water repellency, and dimensional stability, ensuring the banner maintains its appearance throughout extended outdoor exposure.

Grace Color offers mesh banner in standard open-weave ratios (typically 30–50% open area) and custom specifications. Roll widths up to 5.0 m are available, and the material can be finished with hemming, grommets, and rope reinforcement for immediate installation.
